Waikahekahe located in the Puna district on the island of Hawai‘i is our traditional lifestyle demonstration site. Here at Waikahekahe traditional food crops and other useful plants are cultivated coupled with animal husbandry practices to demonstrate self-sufficiency and traditional waste management practices.
